Questions about CNshopper listings, with the words this site uses explained
Help channels first, then a glossary, then the questions that come up most about marketplaces and returns.
Reaching CNshopper when something goes wrong
CNshopper’s main support channel is a chat window built into its site and app. The Contact Us page promises answers “as soon as possible” and notes that time zones and holidays affect how quickly; no opening hours are given. Support also answers by email at [email protected].
For a return or exchange, use the list in section 17 of the refund policy: account email, order number, package number if any, the product link, your reason, a photo or screenshot, the QC photos and your preferred solution. CNshopper also runs a Discord server linked from the footer of its site, useful for general questions but not the place for an order problem.

Jargon on these pages, defined
Definitions for the terms that recur here, written for reading listings rather than as a general dictionary.
- Listing site
- The marketplace where a find is listed: Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian, Xianyu, JD, Xiaohongshu or another.
- Seller type
- Who runs the listing: a brand or flagship store, a registered shop, a factory or wholesaler, or a private person.
- Individual seller
- A person selling without a business. Section 7 of CNshopper’s policy lists their products among those that may not be returnable.
- Flagship store
- A brand’s official shop on Tmall or a similar marketplace, usually with written return terms.
- Pre-sale
- A listing where the item is made or restocked after orders come in; in practice it behaves like made to order.
- Price tier
- On 1688, a price that applies only from a certain quantity upward.
- QC photos
- Quality-check photos taken at CNshopper’s warehouse; a visual check only.
- GL / RL
- Green light and red light: buyer shorthand for approving the QC photos, or asking for a return or exchange.
- DIY Order
- CNshopper’s form for ordering an item by hand; its search sent JD links there in our test.
- Order note
- Free text added to an order for the seller or the warehouse, such as the colour you expect.
- Registration date
- The day CNshopper’s warehouse logs an item in; free storage counts from here.
- Balance
- Money held in your CNshopper account; refunds usually land here first.

Questions readers ask about listings and returns
The questions below are the ones most frequently asked about listing sites and CNshopper returns. Each answer points to the section of the refund policy it comes from, so you can read the original wording yourself.
Can CNshopper buy from Xianyu?
Xianyu is in the market table of CNshopper’s refund policy, but the search box did not open Xianyu links in our test of 17 October 2026: both live links returned “Product Search Failed”. Ask support before ordering how it handles Xianyu items, and expect returns to be limited either way.
Why does a Tmall link open as a Taobao product?
CNshopper files Tmall items under Taobao in its product addresses and treats both in one line of its market table. The store is still a Tmall store, with its own return terms.
Is the five-day review period a fixed deadline?
No. Section 5 gives it as an example (“such as within 5 days”) and the actual limit depends on the seller. Treat it as a reason to act quickly, not as a guarantee of five full days.
Does free storage give me more time for returns?
No. Storage can last up to 90 days, but section 5 says the return or exchange period may be much shorter.
Who pays when the seller sent the wrong size?
Section 12 says the seller may bear some return costs when the problem lies with the seller. In practice shops usually cover the domestic return postage in that case.
Who pays when I change my mind?
Section 12 says you may be responsible for return costs when the reason is preference, a wrong choice or a change of mind.
Can I return something after it has been shipped to me?
Section 6 says returns after international shipping become much more difficult and are not guaranteed, and international shipping fees are generally not refunded.
Where does a refund go?
Section 11 says refunds generally go to your CNshopper balance. To have it sent to your original payment method instead, ask support before you spend the refunded balance.
Should I open a card dispute if a refund is slow?
Talk to CNshopper support first. Section 16 warns that unauthorised chargebacks may delay refunds or freeze account activity.
Does CNshopper check whether an item is genuine?
No. Product pages on CNshopper state that it cannot check the quality or authenticity of what is sold, and its Terms describe QC photos as a visual check only.
Is this site part of CNshopper?
No. It is an independent site, not run by CNshopper; see the About page.
